Climate of Egypt

Summers in Egypt can get extremely hot and dry, especially during the months of May to August. In fact, temperatures often go as high as 50°C in Upper Egypt. When traveling to Egypt in the summer, in order to maximize your comfort levels, make sure to equip yourself with sun glasses, suntan lotions, and loose-fitting cotton clothing.

Climate of EgyptThe climate in Alexandria is comparatively mild during Egyptian summers, making Alexandria a favorite summer vacation destination for visitors from all over Egypt.

The spring season may bring temperate weather accompanied by dust storms (khamseen). Winter in Egypt can be pleasant with radiant sunny days and cold nights.
